DEKALB COUNTY, Ala. – There is a heavy law enforcement presence on I-59 near mile marker 212 in DeKalb County.
The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office was not able to confirm the situation at this time other than an “incident” occurred.
Authorities said the northbound lane of I-59 between Fort Payne and Collinsville will be shut down for an undetermined amount of time. Drivers are asked to seek an alternate route.
